Stare Mesto, May 23, 2025 — Company New Space Technologies Ltd. (NST) invites professional and lay public to the international trade fair of fire technology and safety technologies PYROS 2025 which will take place 28-31 May at Brno Exhibition Centre (BVV). The highlight of NST's participation will be world premiere of the unique czech KALAN amphibious tracked vehicle, designed for rescue missions in the most difficult conditions.

The KALAN vehicle, developed in cooperation with the Rescue Unit of the Fire Department of the Czech Republic, represents a new generation of multi-purpose special equipment for evacuation, intervention and transport in crisis situations such as floods, natural disasters or logistical operations in inaccessible terrain. The vehicle can carry up to 80 persons or 26,000 lb of material, namely on land and in water. Thanks to his variability is ready for a wide range of deployments — from evacuation of the population, pumping water and transporting humanitarian aid, to intervention versions with extinguishing or decontamination.

Official ceremony of the KALAN vehicle will take place directly at the PYROS fair within the framework of the exhibition NST 28.5. at 13:00 in Pavilion F booth no.004.

The presentation will also include the possibility of a personal tour of the vehicle and its entire platform!

“KALAN is the result of several years of development, testing and cooperation with professionals from the field. It is a purely Czech product that has no competition in its class. It is designed exactly according to the needs of rescue services and will be ready to help where conventional technology fails,” said Václav Zajíc, Technical Director of NST.

At the same time, the company registered the KALAN vehicle in the prestigious Competition for Golden PYROS 2025 that recognizes innovative contributions in the field of fire protection and safety.
